Edmonton, AB - Karly Kupka recorded a game-high 12 kills and cored 13 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3-0 set victory (25-13, 25-22, 25-15) over the Keyano Huskies Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Jamie Bain added 29 assists while Lauren Smith and Hannah Gorgichuk were the top players on defence with 8 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Danya Nieman led the way for the Huskies with 9 kills, 5 digs, 2 aces and 2 blocks.
With this win the Ooks record improves to 12-5, while the Huskies fall to 3-15. Rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday January 27th at 1:00pm at the NAIT Gymnasium.
