FORT MCMURRAY, AB. – Karly Kupka had another outstanding performance as she recorded 12 kills, 12 digs and scored a team-high 15 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 4th set victory ( 25-10,25-22,19-25,25-22) over the Keyano Huskies Saturday afternoon at Keyano College.
Hannah Gorgichuk added 10 kills and 20 digs in an outstanding two-way performance. Danya Nieman led the Huskies again with 16 kills and a game-high 21 points.
With the win, the Ooks improve to 4-0 while the Huskies fall to 1-3. The two teams will both be back in action October 27, at 6:00 pm as the Ooks host the Lakeland Rustlers and the Huskies travel to King's to face the Eagles.
