Edmonton, AB - Kaleigh Fisk recorded 10 kills, 8 digs and scored 14 points as the NAIT Ooks women's volleyball team earned a 3-1 set victory (25-20/22-25/25-23/25-22) over the Concordia Thunder Saturday afternoon at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Jamie Bain added 41 assists while Lauren Smith was the top player on defense with 12 digs in a winning cause for the Ooks. Shandelle Meyer led the Thunder with 12 kills, 8 digs, and 1 block.
With this win, the Ooks record improves to 2-0, while the Thunder move to 0-2. NAIT's next game is on the road Friday, October 20th when they take on the Keyano Huskies at 6:00 pm, while the Thunder travel to Camrose to face the Augustana Vikings.
