Ooks defeat Eagles
EDMONTON, AB. - Kennedy Ballum, Kassy Jajczay, and Kiera O'Toole all scored during the NAIT Ooks' decisive 9-0 victory over Kings on Saturday in ACAC women's soccer action at the NAIT.
Kennedy Ballum (2), Kassy Jajczay (3) & Kiera O'Toole (2) combined for seven goals while Megan Loyns and Jenn Perry both added a goal of their own. Renee Chattargoon recorded her 2nd shutout of the season.
Overall, the Ooks outshot the Eagles by 15-1 (shots on net).
With this win, NAIT remains in 2nd place in the ACAC, with a record of 5-0-0, while Kings improves falls to 1-4-0. The Ooks next match is against Augustan at tomorrow at 12:00 PM.
