On Friday night, the Ooks men's volleyball team took on the Augustana Vikings at the NAIT gymnasium. 

In the First set the Ooks took an early lead but not without the Vikings pushing back with a fantastic kill by number ten Boris Kuljanin. However the Ooks weren't letting up holding on to their lead with an incredible block by number eleven Felix Dufour and number ten Carter Godin, and a massive kill from number six Daniel Ward. The Vikings were in a seven point deficit when they called a time out to try and gain some momentum. However it want enough as the Ooks took the set 25-18. 

In the second set the Vikings and Ooks were neck and neck however a massive hit from number seventeen put the Vikings in the lead but it was short lived as the Ooks tied it back up. However the Vikings weren't going down without a fight. The Vikings attempted to close the 4-point gap but the Ooks weren't willing to let up their lead with number eleven Felix Dufour and Number fifteen Shae McIntyre. In another attempt to gain some momentum the Vikings their second time out. However it wasn't enough the Ooks took the Set 25-14.

In the third set the Vikings took the lead early with some incredible blocks from number nine Greg Kaliel but the Ooks quickly swooped in a took it, with a massive hit from Daniel Ward.  The Vikings and Ooks were battling it out with the Ooks finally extending their lead. The Vikings take their first time-out of the set. The Ooks weren't letting up with a fantastic block from number nine Ross bishop. However the Vikings weren't out yet and had a terrific hit from number nine Greg Kaliel. The Ooks didn't let the Vikings celebrate long with number fifteen Shae McIntyre making a massive kill and another by number nine Ross Bishop. Ooks Took the Set 25-21 winning the match 3-0.
