EDMONTON, ALTA. - Jonathan Shapka, a first year from St.Paul, Alberta took home ACAC North Rookie of the Year honours on Wednesday night. Jon led the Ooks in both kills and points this season while starting all 24 matches. NAIT also received to All-Conference Awards. Outside hitter, Devon Klein was named to the ACAC All-Conference team along with setter, Mitch Lewington who also one of two nominees for ACAC Player of the Year.

The Ooks will now head into action tomorrow at 8:00 pm as they open up their Championship journey against the SAIT Trojans.
