EDMONTON, ALTA. - The NAIT Ooks defeated the Lakeland Rustlers 3-1 in ACAC men's volleyball action on Senor's night in the NAIT Gymnasium. 

The game started out evenly matched as the first set took extra points, with the NAIT Ooks winning, 28-26. The Rustlers bounced back to take the second set 25-17. NAIT took another close set 25-23 in the third. The Ooks carried the momentum into the fourth set winning convincingly 25-11, taking the match 3-1.

Oliver McSwain was honoured following game as the lone graduating senior from the Ooks. He graduates from NAIT's Bachelor of Business Administration program. He played four years for the Ooks.

The Big Picture

With the win tonight, the NAIT Ooks improve to 6-17 and remain sixth in the ACAC north division. The Lakeland Rustlers are now 19-4 and remain in second.

The two teams will now rematch tomorrow night in Lloydminster at 6:00 pm.
