EDMONTON, AB. – The NAIT Ooks defeated the Kings Eagles 3-2 (23-25,25-22,25-13, 17-25, 15-12) at King's University on Friday night.
Cole Burkart lead the charge for Ooks with 18 kills, with Mitch Lewington adding 38 assists. Evan Veldman led the Eagles with 20 kills in a losing effort.
With the win, the Ooks improve to 6-3 while the Eagles fall to 3-4. The two teams will rematch Saturday night at NAIT.
