FORT MCMURRAY, AB. – Cole Burkart recorded 13 kills and scored a game-high 15 points, but it was not enough as the NAIT Ooks men's volleyball team fell to the Huskies 3-1 ( 25-23,26-24,23-25,25-22) at Keyano College.
Mitch Lewington added 39 assists and 14 digs (both game highs) for the Ooks. Radoslaw Brzozowski led the Huskies with seven kills and five service aces in their victory.
With the loss, the Ooks fall to 2-1 while the Huskies improve to 3-0. The two teams will face each other again on Saturday afternoon at Keyano College at 3:00 pm.
