EDMONTON, ALTA. - Jordan Davies' four-point night led the NAIT Ooks to an 8-1 victory over the Briercrest Clippers on Saturday afternoon at the NAIT Arena. 

Jake Mykitiuk opened up the scoring for the Ooks 5:29 into the first period. Tanner Younghans added one more for NAIT, before Josiah Friesen potted a powerplay goal for the Clippers to make it a 2-1 game. Jordan Davies added one more before the end of the period to make it 3-1 after 2o minutes of play. 

It was all NAIT from there on out Issac Farrah and Brayden Harris scored for the Ooks in the second period. Jesse Roach opened the scoring in the third before Brandon Ralph added two more bringing the final score to 8-1. Shots were 52-31 on favour of NAIT.

Players of the game were Brandon Ralph from the Ooks and Joshua Mitton for the Clippers. 

When asked about his team's performance NAIT's head coach Tim Fragle said, "We were better than last night, we played a complete 60 minutes." "We had contributions from the entire lineup today."

The Ooks will now play host to the Augustana Vikings on Friday, October 19th at 7 pm in the NAIT Arena, while the Clippers will play host to the Portage Voyageurs.
