Edmonton, AB - 3rd year guard Jackson Jacob scored a team-high 30 points and dished 7 assists as the NAIT Ooks topped the Grande Praire Wolves 107-98 in ACAC men's basketball action Friday night at the NAIT Gymnasium.
Dane Philipenki led all scores with 31 points and 9 rebounds in a losing cause for the Wolves.
The Ooks height advantage was no match for the Wolves as they out rebounded them 44-31 (with the Ooks grabbing 17 offensive rebounds).
With this win the Ooks record improves to 14-7, while the Wolves fall to 12-11. Rematch will take place tomorrow Saturday February 17th at 3:00pm in the NAIT Gymnasium.
