EDMONTON, AB - Huskies Stefan Jovic scored a team-high 27 points and 7 rebounds as the Keyano Huskies topped the NAIT Ooks 94-86 in ACAC men's basketball action Saturday afternoon in the NAIT Gymnasium.
Samson Cleare, Ryan Delwo, and Brady Mackay led the way for the Ooks with 15 points.
The Ooks came out strong in the first half being up by 19 points going into the break, but the Huskies battled back and were able to overcome the deficit in the fourth quarter and take the lead at the end.
With this loss, the Ooks record falls to 2-2, while the Huskies goes to 2-2 as well. NAIT's next game is Friday, October 27th on the road against the Lakeland Rustler at 8:00 pm.
