DAN KAI
A DYNASTY OF DOMINANCE

As one of the most decorated athletes in program history, Kai established himself as the premier men's singles player in both the ACAC and CCAA, building a legacy that remains unmatched.
Kai captured four ACAC Men's Singles Championships between 2007 and 2012, becoming the only athlete in conference history to win the title four times. His success continued on the national stage, where he won an incredible five CCAA Men's Singles National Championships in 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013, cementing his status as one of the greatest collegiate badminton players in Canadian history.
His achievements earned him multiple CCAA All-Canadian selections, CCAA Player of the Year honours in 2012 and 2013, and NAIT Athletics Athlete of the Year recognition in 2013. Through his sustained excellence, dedication and championship success, Dan Kai set a standard for greatness that continues to inspire generations of Ooks student-athletes.
