The Chinese Men's National Hockey Team and the NAIT Ooks men's hockey team faced off in a two-game exhibition series that brought competitive play and meaningful collaboration to the ice.

The series opened Friday afternoon, with the Chinese Men's National Team earning a 4–2 victory over the Ooks. The fast-paced matchup set the tone for the weekend and showcased the high level of play from both programs.

Saturday night's game carried added significance, as NAIT Athletics collaborated with NAIT International Recruitment and the NAIT Chinese Student Association to celebrate international sport and community connections. A ceremonial puck drop was held prior to the game, featuring Chinese Men's National Team head coach Perry Pearn. Pearn has a deep connection to NAIT, having served as head coach of the NAIT Ooks for 14 years and being inducted onto the NAIT Ooks Wall of Fame.

On the ice, the NAIT Ooks responded with a strong performance, earning a 4–2 win to split the exhibition series.
